@SamIam re the long comment thread on the downvoted answer on my campaign finance question: I second the notion that they should all be deleted now that you've moved them to chat. While it's true that they're on the topic of the post, since the author has demonstrated they're not likely to take any feedback and incorporate it they're functionally just litter. Leaving the "moved to chat" message there preserves their accessibility, but I think there's no need to have all that clutter on the page.
