@DJMcMayhem Sometimes it can help to look around for upgrades, but it might be a little early for that to have a major impact

Yeah, but I have a bad habit of not finishing games. I've gotten most of the way through it twice.

I always end up forgetting what I'm supposed to be doing after I put down a metroidvania for a while.

@DJMcMayhem yeah, some of the bosses are quite tough. HK is all about understanding boss patterns and it's more important to figure out how to dodge attacks and survive than to kill them quickly.

Hornet moves very unpredictably, which makes that task a lot harder

Yes I have, didn't beat it

Honestly the big thing for me wrt AHIT is that the platforming is just more fun than Yooka-Laylee's for me

I'm kind of a sucker for acrobatics (double jump, dive, ...)

Also Hat in Time feels a bit more original (especially in terms of the settings and mechanics), whereas Yooka-Laylee takes a lot from Banjo obviously

Hat in Time also has a modding beta and apparently people are actually making decent mods

I'm taking quintopia's word for it though since it's Windows only
