Let’s start with the painful truth:

Too many people experience Stack Overflow¹ as a hostile or elitist place, especially newer coders, women, people of color, and others in marginalized groups.

Q: Do we have a "How to write a good answer" post? If not, can we have one?

Personally, I am unaware of such post. (And I did not find one.)
I guess it might be quite difficult to create something like that.
But if some users plan to do so, I suppose some points raised in various past discussions might be relevant.

I was less sure about best-practices. But it is relatively close to the topic.
It's up to you whether or not you keep this tag. If you are pondering the choice of tags faq-proposed or proposal might be relevant, too.
Perhaps faq-proposed seems rather close. But to me the tag seems more suitable for the actual post with "How to write a good answer" guide. (Which might be later be retagged faq.)
I'm not really sure, some tags on meta are not used very consistently. (And probably it does not matter that much.)
