@MartinSleziak Obviously, mathematicians are the lab rats.
@MartinSleziak (1) How to reply to a specific message. (2) How to make links. (3) How to post a long text past the character limit.

I have added too more bullet points to the chat tag-info. (Although I am not really satisfied and this can probably be improved.)
> For every chat message you can get small menu by clicking on the triangle next to the message on the left. Here you can choose permalink (to get a link to the specific message), history (which is useful if you want to see source of the message) and reply. The latter gives you possibility to reply to a specific message (which is useful if you want to indicate what exactly you are responding to).
> It is possible to do this both when you are in the room or from the transcript.
And the second one:
> Chat messages are limited to 500 characters - if you use multiline messages you can add much more but this also has disadvantage. (The whole text is displayed only after clicking "see full text". Links in mulitine messages do not work in the transcript.) For more on this see: What is the maximum length of a chat room message?
@user21820 What did you mean by "(2) How to make links." Did you mean link to a specific message? Or did you mean [text](url) syntax.
I have tried to do some edits along the lines of user21820's suggestion - but as I said before, if you have some improvements that can be made, please go ahead.

@MartinSleziak The latter.
Thanks!

I see. So perhaps I should also mention [text](url).
I've added this:
> When posting links in chat, you can use [text](url) syntax (similarly as in comments). For example: You can find more information in [the chat tag-info](https://math.meta.stackexchange.com/tags/chat/info) will give you: "You can find more information in the chat tag-info".
