@Jolenealaska They've made an arrest: globalnews.ca/news/8965170/…
> Highland Park Police Chief Lou Jogmen said officers spotted 22-year-old Robert E. Crimo III less than an hour after he was named a person of interest. A brief police chase occurred before Crimo was finally stopped and arrested without incident.
> The shooting occurred about 15 minutes after the 10 a.m. start of the quiet suburb’s festive parade, with the shooter taking aim at spectators from a business’ roof with a high-powered rifle, according to police.

There was also a shooting in Philadelphia during the 4th of july celebrations - two cops were shot, I don't know what else happened.
Videos of people running with fireworks going off - its very sad to see.
Apparently, both cops seem ok - one of them had their head grazed by a bullet... and their hat somehow stopped the bullet. 6abc.com/… In this article you can see a picture of the actual bullet stuck in the hat. Nuts. Looks like no one was arrested, no suspects.

@TimmyJim "America is a horror MOvie"... yeah, I agree with that one.
It's completely unreal how a loud but powerful and vocal minority is holding the rest of the country hostage with gun laws.
Since don't something like 70% of Americans support tighter gun control?
The fact the fireworks are still going off in the background... just adds a whole other layer to it. IT's chilling.

Yea I saw someone else post how terrifying it must be running away from that with fireworks going off not knowing if that's more gun shots or just fireworks.
It's really bad how our country (the leaders mainly) just can't seem to come to its/their sense.

> In April 2014, four naval aviators narrowly escaped disaster. Just as they entered highly controlled airspace for a training exercise, their two F/A-18F fighter jets nearly collided with an unidentified flying object (UFO). To the frustration of dozens of their fellow aviators, such a near-catastrophe was inevitable.
> Despite the frequency of the encounters and the severity of the hazard, it took the Navy five years to adopt a formal UFO reporting structure. The first batch of these reports, heavily redacted and spanning only a few months in 2019, makes clear that the U.S. government faces a significant challenge.
