@BradC I don't think there are hundreds living there, but it will certainly be in the high double digits. It seems a bit like the news are underestimating this one so far because there is no real casualty number

unless it was mostly empty, the collapsed section could easily have housed hundreds

But yeah, I understand they don't report "deaths" until they have confirmed bodies, but sometimes that leads to underplaying what will be the (to me) obvious final toll

The ABC News article linked above mine has some details and updates: 12 story building, 136 units, 55 of which were in the portion that collapsed

@BradC 55 units pretty much puts a cap of around 200 people occupying those units.

So far 35 people were rescued, but it sounds to me like most of those were from the uncollapsed portion?

It was always pretty clear what happened to all these kids that just vanished... but I think finding the graves will make this more real for, well, the rest of Canada.

also I'm not quite sure how this guy tied it in to the reading of the day, protestant sermons can be about whatever but catholic homilies have to be related to the gospel of the day
