> A federal judge on Friday ordered the Trump administration to fully restore an Obama-era program designed to shield young, undocumented immigrants from deportation, dealing what could be a final blow to President Trump’s long-fought effort to end the protections.

The program, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, was created by President Barack Obama in 2012. Over the years, it has protected more than 800,000 individuals, known as “dreamers,” who met a series of strict requirements for eligibility.

'It’s very disturbing': Halifax tenant evicted by demolition, says lawyer thechronicleherald.ca/news/local/…
tl;dr a company "evicted" everyone from their apartment, because they wanted to demolish it and build a larger, newer building. Everyone left but one tenant, who said he couldn't find an affordable place to move to (which is highly likely true). Additionally, he claims he was being evicted illegally (which he was), since the owners never got the proper authorization from the Tenancy Board (a notice to quit). He got a hearing to contest the illegal eviction.
He finally got a notice to quit after his story went public, however not sure if it was an atual one, or forged. Either way, he had a hearing. Then, one day while he wasn't home, they started to demolish the building... and they specifically started by destroying his unit. The was given an order to stop after it started.
So basically, the company should be responsible for the following: 1) Replace EVERYTHING that was in his apartment 2) Cover his living expenses for the rest of his life, since they illegally stole his home from him.
and, naturally, everyone involved should spend the rest of their life in prison. Fuck this company.

U.S. Supreme Court again asked to block Biden win in Pennsylvania ctvnews.ca/world/america-votes/…
> They maintain that Pennsylvania's expansive vote-by-mail law is unconstitutional because it required a constitutional amendment to authorize its provisions.
> In the underlying lawsuit, Kelly and the other Republican plaintiffs had sought to either throw out the 2.5 million mail-in ballots submitted under the law or to wipe out the election results and direct the state's Republican-controlled Legislature to pick Pennsylvania's presidential electors.

@Wipqozn Even if the SCOTUS for some bizarre reason would grant this request... Wouldn't Trump still lose the EC?
Like, Biden requires 270 EC votes to win. He currently has 305 AFAIK
