BREAKING: "Coastal GasLink’s final Technical Data Report for the pipeline they plan to build through Wet’suwet’en territory has now been rejected by the B.C. Environmental Assessment Office." This is totally wild. Your move, @jjhorgan, @JustinTrudeau: t.co/GGPgOCnpcz
Really glad RCMP was deployed to defend this unapproved and now rejected pipeline route :)
I can confirm that I support sanders because russia wants me to help trump win, this is totally a thing
Definitely doesn't have anything to do with the 60,000 people who die every year for reasons related to health finance or anything
We should probably just go with the candidate who won't be attacked by republicans which by my calculations is only... checks notes donald trump and literally nobody else

Great, apparently the jury in the Weinstein trial asked the judge if they could be hung on one or both of the charges.
@Unionhawk I'm at least 40% sure no one's saying not to vote for Sanders.

Nice
Damn
#BernieIsARussianAsset is trending
Or apparently trying to

Yeah like I said it's all completely true, I am doing kompromat and you caught me
> Indigenous Rail Blockades Could Become Flashpoint For Far-Right Activity

We are watching members and supporters of hate groups inciting each other to assault and murder people participating in Wet'suwet'en solidarity blockades across Canada.

https://t.co/kY9oMrSHVb
Be advised/this is well known, but
The larger hazard on the blockades appears to be these militias rather than RCMP (though that's strictly larger as in rank 1 vs rank 2)
(then again nobody in here is in western canada afaik)

@MartinSleziak if i recall correctly, where he plans to build the bridge happens to be very deep and also filled with old World War 2 Ordinance which from my understanding, is still live

@Memor-X I caught something like that too - although at the time I did not hear about tunnel(s) as an alternative.
The article I linked is from February 10 - so it seems that I heard about it a bit later than this actually appeared for the first time.

> The dump site is not regularly monitored by the British government, although the construction of a British Gas pipeline two decades ago resulted in thousands of second world war incendiary bombs being washed ashore, some of which exploded when they dried out. A four-year-old boy suffered burns in Campbeltown, Argyll and Bute, after picking up a device containing phosphorus.

The episode led to the last major survey of the maritime site, with dredging for the gas pipeline thought to have been the cause.
@MartinSleziak tunnels might work but if they are going through the area you'd think it'll need to be made alot lower so that if anything above explodes it doesn't cause the tunnel to collapse

We'll see whether this simply gets forgotten or whether Boris Johnson bring it up again in the future.
I'd guess now he has other things on his plate. WP: 2020 British cabinet reshuffle

This impacts older models that used MobilEye technology, fwiw, but lol
> Reached for comment, a MobilEye spokesperson told Gizmodo by email that stickers on the traffic signs “can confuse a human eye and therefore we do not consider this an adversarial attack.”
Narrator: Uh no?
I mean as a general statement that's true but no one's thinking you should (legally) be going 85 in literally any state but Texas, and definitely not in an area that warrants a 35 MPH sign

2:27 PM
@TimStone Okay. How do you propose the car recognizes a 35 MPH stretch of land? How do you propose foreigners would know how hard to drive on a stretch of land without being intimately familiar with the US rules? speed signs are there so people don't have to guess what the speed limit is, and so everyone can agree on a single speed limit

85 MPH is not a legal speed limit anywhere in the country with the exception of those few highways in Texas and the sensor should reject it as a possibility. The part about foreigners isn't relevant to the point, but 35 MPH is typically only used in residential or urban areas in the US, where going 85 MPH wouldn't even be a sensible guess.
The issue isn't with the sensor getting confused, it's with it accepting something that it should have safeguards to reject

2:48 PM
+50 is also not a valid speed limit change anywhere
Since presumably at some point it knew that limit was 35

I mean, in the particular case my brain has a validation rule that says "no 85 in this part of town isn't right" but generally sure

@Unionhawk Have you seen this yet? twitter.com/pebonilla/status/1231056458210586624
Since you've been a bit of a hardass on cops lately
so I though you'd enjoy a judge absolutely ripping into them
