@TimStone why wouldn't you be nervous about trying to smuggle $200k into another country? I'd be nervous trying to smuggle a bottle of water onto a plane. Smuggling is scary

1:26 AM
I mean I assume there's some ostensibly illegitimate part about where the money came from and that's why it was being smuggled, but it's hard to say because they didn't elaborate
There's always an issue with carrying more than $10k in cash, granted

6:17 AM
just watching the Seven News and the sports game Trump was attending this weekend, someone went and stabbed the Trump Baby
haven't heard what kind of damage the stabbing did or if it's already been repaired

3:22 PM
@Elise I get scared about hrt

3:34 PM
@Memor-X I hate Trump but that thing is really stupid
but FFFFFFFFF

@Ave yeah, last time I traveled, I was sketchy about having anti-anxiety pills on me
airports are stressful in general

Ave
I'll prob not take my hrt to germany
will just a EU resident to bring their own hrt and I'll borrow theirs

I imagine syringes and such are even sketchier than pills :x

@Ave how does going to the EU work from Turkey? Is there like a whole border with visas and stuff or is it simple?

Ave
@Stormblessed there's visas involved.

3:38 PM
oh that's annoying

Ave
I got my tickets and housing and all before my visa so getting visa was SCARY
because being denied, as you might imagine, would mean that I'd need to cancel all that.
Also: It took a lot of paperwork (100+ pages I believe).

Damn
Here you can like drive into Canada on a whim if you have a passport...

@Stormblessed I believe you get issued a visa on the spot, they can still deny you tho

yeah but pretty easy

Ave
@Elise visa-free != visa on arrival

3:41 PM
by having a visa beforehand, you're mainly eliminating the chance to be denied entry at the border

Ave
canada is 180 days visa free

@Ave it's considered visitor visa afaik
all the paperwork I did when applying for permanent residentship (or visitor visa extension) referred to my stay as having a visitor visa

Ave
Hm, IDK the exact details but passportindex considers it visa-free and not visa on arrival

even though I never had an actual visa, just a stamp in my passport
@Ave maybe it just means you can't actually apply for visa before hand 🤔
Idk, I don't travel enough to know these things well

Ave
idk either.

3:43 PM
I know you need to apply to e-visa to enter Canada from EU these days
7 years ago you didn't have to
2 years ago when I was visiting Latvia, I had some trouble getting back, because the airline didn't want to check me in without a visa, because they had no idea what a permanent resident card is 🤦🏼‍♀️
and we had to call someone about it, so dumb

3 hours later…
9:10 PM
Appears to be an ongoing coup in Bolivia

@Unionhawk it's not exactly a coup. essentially, Morales rigged the election, but got caught doing so and resigned

9:29 PM
it seems that the military "politely asked" for that result so I mean
by definition
you are not immune to propaganda, also

10:30 PM
@TimStone best lawyer and best cybersecurity adviser, perfect call :trumphands:
@Nzall you have to wonder if he was trying to bluff his way out of it when he said he's call a new election if the OAS Audit found anything
