Not that international criticism would necessarily stop them but the lack of it makes it just so easy to be dismissive of these clear human rights abuses

I picked something off the shelf at the grocery store yesterday and it had expired in March 🤦🏼‍♂️

Earlier in the summer I got some drinks from a different grocery store and was like "Hm this seems a bit off" and then realized it had expired in November of 2018

@TimStone I work dairy in a grocery store and can confirm. Recently there was a push for stock rotation being high priority (which makes sense), but now it takes that much longer to work the order and we get told off for not getting everything done on time. And many workers still don't rotate, because they only do dairy once a week at most

and some people don't even check the dates when they're working old stock and end up filling the shelf with expired food 🤦🏼‍♀️

If Liberals + NDP (+ green?) form government, then I plan to contact my local rep right away saying they need to revisit election reform (Aka don't fucking sabotage it this time).

Lowering the voting age is something you don't often hear proposed.

The argument makes sense though. It is literally taxation without representation.

Most countries have it set at 18, but there are few with 16 and 17.

@RedRiderX It does. Although it's not an issue I find myself hugely concerned with. It's May's continued commitment to election reform that I like.

All I hear are attack ads. Nobody's willing to actually commit to a platform, other than, "That guy is the worst. Don't vote for him. Vote for us."

@Elise When I worked for walmart years ago, I got yelled at for this; almost no-one buys the store-brand chips; the shelf was never empty - but we got a box or two of every flavour every day without fail. You don't want expired chips? stop sending us so many!
