@TimStone again, this is one of the best signs that reality is not working
> But the IBM Series/1 computers remain, in part because of their reliability and security. And it's not clear whether other upgrades to "modernize" the system have been completed. Air Force officials have acknowledged network upgrades that have enhanced the speed and capacity of SACCS' communications systems, and a Government Accountability Office report in 2016 noted that the Air Force planned to "update its data storage solutions, port expansion processors, portable terminals, and desktop terminals by the end of fiscal year 2017." But it's not clear how much of that has been completed.

One good thing about an election is it lets you know who on your facebook you should just set to a hard ignore. Someone keeps sharing from a "Canada Proud" and "Nova SCotia Proud" organization. Also, comment from some friend of theirs (stranger to me) on the post "I'll vote for whoever won't take away my guns".
I really hope scheer doesn't get actual power come Monday
I'm kind of terrified for monday

12:53 PM
On the bright side, Liberals are ahead again, and high early voter turn out is normally a good thing for the left...but literally anything can happen election day

@Wipqozn saaaaame

2:06 PM
some more info from ccnn: edition.cnn.com/uk/live-news/…
this is the third request for a delay

2:18 PM
@Wipqozn Boris said he'd rather die in a ditch before getting a delay. MPs don't want a No Deal Brexit but also don't like what Boris has. Boris could save face by revoking Article 50 because atleast then he never has to ask for a delay

2:39 PM
@Memor-X I mean, MPs will never get the deal they want, since ultimately they want some magical deal that'll continue to give them all the benefits of EU membership without actually being a member.

2:55 PM
@Wipqozn There are 4 major factions: there's 1 faction that wants a deal Brexit, there's 1 faction that wants a no deal Brexit, there's 1 faction that wants a confirmatory referendum (with another split in that faction for whether that referendum should have a "remain" option) and a fourth faction that wants A50 being revoked

‘Complete nonsense’: Experts dispute Scheer’s claims about forming government globalnews.ca/news/6054421/…
The google news app gets constantly worse
I can't even get a "copy link" option for sharing anymore? Fucking stupiud
Anyways, scheers a liar. Also water is still wet.
> Experts on Canada’s parliamentary system say Andrew Scheer should know better than to erroneously contend that whoever wins the most seats on Monday gets to form the government.

> The Conservative leader was, after all, Speaker of the House of Commons for almost five years and, as such, should be well aware that the only rule that matters is who can command the confidence of the majority of MPs — whether they be all from one party, or from a multitude of partisan affiliations.

This is the same dude making up claims about a coalition government hiking up a 40 billion dollar deficit: cbc.ca/news/politics/…

user15026
So....you know. Dude likes to lie.

I, for one, am shocked! SHOCKED!

user15026
You can see the PCs are running scared, and it is fascinating

user15026
Like their entire platform right now seems to be "anyone but is scaaaaary bad"

4:23 PM
Yet it might not even matter, because so many people will just believe anything he says.

user15026
That's the part that frustrates me.

user15026
I am so worried about Monday.

user15026
I know Scheer is just Ford++ and that's....so terrfying

@TimStone That's what we call a bold move.
Honestly I'm starting to think that the prospect of the UK just being in Brexit limbo forever is seeming more and more likely.
