The Nashville DA brokered a deal in which an inmate on death row would have his sentence converted to life due to likely discrimination during his trial, but the state AG has turned up and is really intent on having the inmate killed
Seems unnecessary not only because it's unusual that the AG would interfere with a DA like this, but also because in Tennessee the AG is an appointed position via the judicial branch, so it's not even relevant as a campaign issue or anything

lol, in case you think you misread that last one no literally one of the bills is "you can put yourself on a list that won't let you buy a gun if you want"
There's also someone who saw the bill making October Domestic Violence Awareness Month and went "Hmmm not sure we need a whole month for that" and introduced another bill making it only one day in October
Not sure what the guy who really wants tasers to not have to be labelled is on about either

We're here with the UAW
Quiet day today
Apparently the bosses have been working the floor and come out extremely sweaty because they're not used to doing manual labor
But right now we're just sitting around
Beto is apparently going to be here Tuesday
Lot of folks from the Ford plant coming up

Don't worry he's been suspended now because he also arrested an 8 year old and they have to investigate whether checks notes arresting young children is not the right thing to do 🤔

please pay me for this investigation
my current fee is $6 (how much a "pork belly lollipop" costs at this Oktoberfest)
