I just got a kick in the gut.
> More than 100 Palestinians in Gaza City were killed and more than 700 injured Thursday, when Israeli soldiers opened fire on the people scrambling to access humanitarian aid, some media outlets reported.
Firing upon people grabbing aid packages?! Those aid packages are largely from countries that have been supportive of Israel! Holy crap. I did a quick look for confirmation of the story elsewhere and didn't find it. Somehow I found myself on a Fox page which said that 100 people were killed in a stampede for the aid.

Yeah, I keep my guard up for unconfirmed info.

I will be watching for developments. If anyone else sees something reliable either way, please post it.

 Israeli–Palestinian conflict

Room for discussing the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

@Jolenealaska According to a Flemish article at vrt.be/vrtnws/nl/2024/03/02/…, around 150 injured victims who were brought to hospitals had gunshot wounds

Oh shit
They're calling it increasing evidence.

It is possible that they were brought from other areas or that these are (to use a loaded word) "crisis actors" who were shot by Hamas to try and implicate Israel, but that's unlikely
@Jolenealaska yeah, that's due to statements from Gaza doctors at the hospitals, they're mentioned further down

Have you watched the video?
I'm not sure if if I want to right now. This story is hitting me hard. These last few days have just been brutal.

No info is better than bad info.

@Jolenealaska I didn't, I try to stay away from that war

2:47 PM
Yeah, I think I'll let it go too at least for tonight. I need a sanity break.

💯✅

@Jolenealaska I recommend you do something mentally challenging to take a break. Maybe play a videogame

I just started my second to last term in school, so I've got mentally challenging stuff I need to get done anyway.
