@TimStone way around it, give them away for dirt cheap and set up mandatory subscription services for continued revenue
"sorry Qualcomm, but our devices are only worth $10. we make out money from $50 monthly subscriptions that are independent of your stuff. what? you want to take us to court over that? sure, lets settle this in a few years where our subscription services also fund the lawsuit indefinitely"

> Alison Grey, a Castleford fan, posted on social media during the game that she was asked to take down a rainbow flag - used as symbol of the LGBTQI+ movement and promotes social equality - which she had displayed.

"Just been told I am not allowed this flag because the club does not allow it. How disgusting," she tweeted.

She later said in an interview with Sky Sports: "We were asked if we could take the flag down, first because it was against health and safety. When we said that there were other flags around the ground they gave up.
you signed a guy who was kicked out of his old club for making homophobic posts and while out of a job, spoke at a sermon saying that the fires was because we allowed same sex marriage. you'd think you'd be a bit more careful with this subject since people would be watching Israel Folau and his new club carefully

> On 17 June, each voter will have 38 votes to spread among about 100 candidates, who will all be listed.

After scrapping district voting in a 2018 referendum, all 38 of the island's elected politicians will be chosen in one island-wide district.
there are 100 candidates
> There are other countries that vote for all their representatives at once, effectively treating the country as one huge constituency.

Fiji elects 50 members across the island, Israel elects 120, and the people of Mozambique elect 250 members of their government as one district.

However, these jurisdictions have a party list system - the voters select a list of candidates who all belong to a single party.

@Stormblessed I thought electing all of your representatives at once is the norm for a democracy? or am I misinterpreting this?

@Nzall yes, but those places don't make every single voter choose on all the races
It mentions a few other but much smaller islands that elect about 10 people at once with all voters choosing on all at once
and that quote says that Israel, Fiji, and Mozambique make it easier by having a list of candidates all chosen together so it's not terribly confusing
The U.S. house is not a great system — Wyoming has multiple times the number of reps per voter that California — but for individual voters it takes a lot less decisions. Some places (maybe Ireland?) have systems so it is in theory proportional without being so complicated to choose
at least they have a 4-day election to figure it out
