I’m voting to close this question because, as it will probably be impossible to find and analyze some serious scientific data to determine if women like it or not, answers will be pure speculation and opinion-based. — OldPadawan 2 mins ago

@OldPadawan You could be more helpful, you know. Every damn question I ever ask here gets closed for $random_reason. — Ilir S. 2 mins ago

If you think your question(s) should be treated differently, please make sure first that they follow IPS guidelines and requirements, then edit and flag for moderators attention. Meta and How to Ask are helpful too. IPS is about communication with others, and the behaviours used to interact well with them. We can't tell you what women (or men) think or why they would think A is better than B for instance... We aren't mind readers AFAIK :) — OldPadawan 1 min ago

@IlirS. Humans are individual and a general answer that relates to at least many other people would be hard to guess. What I could imagine is that it may really suck if a person is regularly compared to someone else. 1. it's always the same thing they hear, this really can be annoying and 2. one wants to be seen as an individual person, not a copy of a celebrity. These are possible reasons in general but no guarantee the persons you are talking about have the same background. I also see that questions in this forum mostly get closed, now let's see how long this comment will last :-) — puck 1 min ago

@puck : it'll last as long as you don't delete it or that a mod handles a flag :) IPS is fairly strict about comments, as they should be used only to ask for clarification. Not for partial answers. Not for chatty off-topic thoughts. This community deals with very sensible human interactions, so we, as a team, should be more careful than many other stacks on the SE network that are more on the "technical part". But I'm sure you already know that ;) — OldPadawan 46 secs ago

Hi Tata, and welcome to IPS. "what yould I do?" type of question aren't a good fit for this stack, and therefore, are off-topic. Please read first How to Ask and our guidelines and requirements, then edit your question. We may help you with communicating with your colleagues, but we need more background, and a clear goal to achieve. — OldPadawan 1 min ago

@Scruffy Yeah, there's a reason that OldPadawan's got a score of 20K on this SE. :) I like reading the info provided by that user and respect the answers provided. I can't think of too many times I've commented on OldPadawan's answers with a suggested improvement. — baldPrussian 21 secs ago
