@Tinkeringbell gf took out a one year contract because we're expecting prices to still rise, but mine doesn't offer anything either :/
tbh, I spend most of my time at her place, so energy usage at my home is at a minimum
Morning btw :)

7:59 AM
I think it's time to write an angry email ;) I will do so today after breakfast and all the chores are done, if I have energy left XD

@Tinkeringbell Just in general or at anyone in particular? :P

CC ALL

To the energy cooperation, want to know why they didn't take out a long term low price contract. This way, I can never get a good handle on my expenses if they change on a whim twice a year!
(I have the same question for the VvE, I guess. Next meeting is on Tuesday and the agenda also mentioned that we were going to talk about the money we pay each month)

Those damned defective parrots!

Uh, its not the parrot registering the complaint
it would be a very different skit then

MiG
I don't know, maybe Tink is defective too? I hear something about covid, I would return her :P

Q: Why is my kalanchoe not flowering? Is it healthy?

Arpita ShettyI got this kalanchoe plant in October 2021 when I moved to Cardiff, UK. It was flowing back then. It had lots of flowers. But after the flowering season, i removed the dried wilted flowers, and since then it has not flowered. I have not even seen a single bud since then. I re-potted the plant as ...

@JourneymanGeek national protocol is you go free after 24h of no symptoms
they even let go of the infected cohabitant clause, although I'm pretty sure gf's currently just suffering from having coughed her lungs out for days :(

@MiG Oooh, nice! I had wanted to go do shopping today but I'm still not free to go
Feeling mostly better though, except for the surprise period....

ouch, did covid affect its cycle? :(
decided to tackle some DiY projects, including finally putting up vertical fly screen blinds at the balcony door... That went surprisingly well, considering the instructions were a bit hard to read :)

@MiG I'm suspecting it did. As I'm on a form of birth control that should completely block full periods (I have some "breakthrough bleeding" at times, but the last full period with cramps and stuff was about a year ago).
@MiG Ooh, nice! I think I'm just going to wait until my summer vacation (first three weeks of August) before tackling any projects again.

I think there's a misinterpretation of interpersonal skills here

8:12 PM
@JourneymanGeek at least this one involves people, the previous one was about a plant ffs.

8:59 PM
@ExtrovertedMainMan (@tink see deleted comment)

@Mithical tanks.

9:50 PM
@Tinkeringbell I would go with a full on screen door if you're considering this btw, these blinds dangle a bit in the wind
@Tinkeringbell I've heard of biological processes of many kinds being disrupted by covid, sorry to hear :(
@Tinkeringbell a plant? :D
