Mostly just busy, but a good kind of busy. The "get all stuff done before a long weekend" kind of busy

had a long workshop on a research proposal that lasted most of the day, and in the morning another one that I could only partially attend because of that

no plans this weekend though apart from a belated bday dinner, gonna pick up on some things I've been meaning to pick up on for a long time

oh ffs, zee russians claim they do not intentionally attack civilian structures, even though they've indiscriminately shelled most Ukrainian cities, and utterly destroyed Mariupol, including every house and apartment building there

I guess you have to accept continuous 1984 style lying from your government if you live in russia, including the same lack of safety from that same government

basically their tactic seems to be "Surrender or we flatten your cities"

only thing is then they need to garrison them

garrison the ruins :/

apparently they found 200 decomposing bodies in the basement of a collapsed building in Mariupol just now :(

These people must have been through immense terror in their final hours :'(
