Morning :)

How was the weekend?

MiG
6:53 AM
Busy but good... went to a birthday party on saturday, then spent all of sunday fixing, cleaning and packing for trip
arrived really late though and had trouble sleeping, so I'm feeling a bit tired now -_-
you? :)

Started early on Friday, took the last two hours of my afternoon to go to the hairdresser and do some grocery shopping, then ate fries with grandma... finished the workday in the evening when there wasn't as much noise nuisance from the municipality workers. Saturday was chores in the morning, driving grandma around in the afternoon, couch potato in the evening.
Yesterday I went to my parents to celebrate a late Mother's Day with mom. We had bbq, and I'm going to kill my brother for splattering grease all over my 80 euro expensive shirt (I washed it immediately, it didn't come out).

@Tinkeringbell oh dear :x
busy bee :)
trying to sort through a large stack of documents atm, that I just chucked in my bag last night... got a meeting at 10 that I need to prepare for as well :x

@MiG Yeah, don't really feel like I just had a weekend XD
@MiG Oof! Good luck. My first meeting of the week will be in 2 minutes ;-)

MiG
good luck with that then :P

"Osinga zei verder dat Poetin in drie maanden van oorlog het omgekeerde heeft bereikt van wat hij wilde bereiken. "Het is bizar. Het verdeelde Oekraïense volk is een natie geworden, hij heeft het Westen weten te verenigen en de Europese Unie en de NAVO te versterken en de NAVO wordt uitgebreid."
:D
Apparently the guy only discusses things with military and intelligence loyalists, so he's getting a wildly distorted view of both his own army's capabilities and the political situation in the world :)
and the Ukraine intelligence head claims he's got cancer... maybe that's why he's keeping such long distances with foreign guests, chemo having wiped out his immune system

@MiG If that's true a few carefully aimed sneezes can solve a lot :P

MiG
@Tinkeringbell Definitely :D

5 hours later…
12:39 PM
:( This morning the radar showed that the thunder/rain would hit hard here, and now it is saying that it will stay bonedry again :(

3 hours later…
MiG
4:00 PM
had to rush out when I heard thunder, but only got mildly wet... did get those huge raindrops you get with a severe storm, just not many

4:15 PM
@MiG maybe it will happen yet, wind is picking up and getting cooler here, and the sky is slightly greyish...
Looking at the radar though, and everything will miss by a km or 10

2 hours later…
MiG
6:37 PM
@Tinkeringbell that gives me an immediate flashback :D

6:56 PM
@MiG Well there wasn't any rain and the room is still at 21.5 :/

MiG
7:34 PM
Gonna be warmer this week... despite the living room heating up I'm kinda looking forward to it after all the cold :)

It hasn't ever been cold this winter XD
I prefer freezing over very hot...

MiG
7:51 PM
In the morning and at night it has been, close to and even below zero :/
I like being able to go for a bike ride in the morning without having to dress warmly :)

You cycle yourself warm. 20 degrees in the morning means it's too hot to do anything at all that day

MiG
I'm not doing the spandex racing bike thing, just going for a round on a regular bike... less cold is nicer :)
