Q: Is sending mass DM in instagram using bots a good practice?

1amroffI have an instagram page and I want to reach all my followers directly. That issue brings me to mass direct messaging practice but I am hesitating. I have two ways. 1 - I can send message to my followers one by one. (Meanwhile I have 60K+ followers.) 2 - I can use mass messaging tools or bots. Wh...

morning!

1 hour later…
9:40 AM
@ExtrovertedMainMan i started editing this question to try to improve it (removing reference to harley quinn among other things :p) but scrapped the edit because if i remove the unnecessary fluff there isn't actually much left at all
also morning

9:55 AM
@AlexRobinson Yeah, it wouldn't leave much, and what would be left, would still be off-topic. I see it's closed but doesn't have a comment yet, I'll write one.

yeah, like it clearly has a question in the title but didn't actually ask a question / elaborate in the body

And the question in the title is pretty much... unanswerable except by the person calling the OP Zachary.

definitely, its clearly unanswerable even if it were well written lol

My bet is they just like being annoying :P

i'd tend to agree - though OP doesn't state whether or not they've talked to their friend about how they find being called zachary annoying so it could be entirely unintentional

The post doesn't even clarify their relation to the 'one person'.
So it's not even sure this is a friend, it might be a teacher calling names in front of the classroom, taking attendance.

if it is a teacher i used to have a similar issue where teachers would assume my birth name was "alexander" and would tell me off for shortening it... which always felt really harsh because i am a real Alex

XD That's weird. Don't they get lists of names at the start of the schoolyear? If that official list is saying Alex, what reason do they have to assume it's shortened?!

10:33 AM
one certainly would have hoped... it was a weird school

XD
Schools are always a bit weird, I guess.

4 hours later…
2:21 PM
Morning.

How is?
@AlexRobinson "So, what, you want me to just pick an arbitrary longer name instead of my real name? Okay, call me Alexiramivarius, I guess."

@Sarov Nearing the end of my workday, hoping it hurries up. Waiting until I get a refund for the chair I ordered and returned, so I can go pick out a new one... I'm getting a wooden ass from my current chair, and a pillow isn't helping.

@Tinkeringbell "Wooden ass"? Never heard that one before.

@Sarov Oh. Must be something Dutch then... it's that feeling you get when you sit on a hard surface for very long.
How are things over there?

2:29 PM
Just got in. Not sure what to do; there are tasks but they'll take days and there's a higher priority thing that's on hold but ETA is an hour.

@Sarov damn you right, i should've taken this approach

Worst-case, they start calling you Alexiramivarius instead. And let's be fair; that's more of a best-case. XD

3:06 PM
@Sarov Start on the longer ones, then switch to the higher priority thing once it becomes available?

@Tinkeringbell Eh... when you factor in context switching, that becomes basically pointless.

Yeah, okay, that's hard then.
