My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year now. We are both from India but I am a Bengali and he is a Gujarati. Bengalis eat meat (We even worship fish) whereas Gujaratis are mostly pure vegetarians. My boyfriend does not eat meat and personally is not against my diet. Both of us love ha...
I am quickly figuring out that I don't like this person, and how chaotic they are. Last week I had some very, very productive daily calls with the people that I needed to work with to fix the problem, and they were absent. Those calls were also more 'spontaneous', in that we didn't have a set time for them, we just called whenever we had updates/needed each other.
This morning they decided to schedule a call, with 2 other people that aren't actually involved in solving this (they do know about the problem, but aren't assigned to fixing), themselves, me and the two other guys that have been working on it since last week... We spent 20 minutes and got out of that meeting needing our own calls
I guess I should ask on TWP how to deal with it. Being blunt so far hasn't helped...
So, everyone is saying we will have a 3rd lockdown really soon and that they will announce it Thursday. And really, I was fine with this curfew thing, but the idea of travel restriction is stressing me out (especially since I will need to travel for medical reasons in two weeks). And I wish that they would announce it already because not knowing is the worst and I am having a hard time focusing on work will all this unknown.
Also, I was planning on taking a week of holidays to go to the mountain but as long as I don't know if we will have travel restriction or not, I can't make a decision about that ><
Though, right now, it really is looking like I won't be able to go :'(
@Ael :( But wouldn't medical reasons for travelling be an exception? I mean, I understand you couldn't go to the mountains (and that sucks) but do you know if previous lockdowns allowed travelling for medical reasons and maybe that can help a tiny bit with reducing stress?
I mean, I'm white so I should be fine with cops. But one can never know. Especially when I look very queer and am autistic (so I won't have a "good" body language)
Hmm. The only experience I have with French cops are the ones near Disneyland. Those seemed relatively okay, you could approach them and ask for directions, and they didn't get mad...
But yeah, I get why you might be nervous about that.
Someone I know has a tendency to ask vague questions right after I finish speaking. I don't know why he does this but I don't think it's because he's curious about the answer.
There's a few examples I could give. For example when I came back from a trip I said "a vacation was just what I needed" ...
