Dimitri RusinJust say, "I don't want to lend this object." And if they ask, "Why?" you say, "Because I don't want to." This way, 1) your object stays with you. And 2) they will like you because you show them that you like yourself and care about your own objects.

Isn't this a bit too blunt?
I don't think it's good advice to be so bluntly against something you've always said yes to before
