@ExtrovertedMainMan Well, there's no one type of "person with mental illness" and no one type of person
So "it's complicated"
And it's probably more complicated than you can handle, kind-hearted fella, if you're looking for an answer on a Q&A site.
There. That's the satisfying badass talk of the day. Strecthes

@M.A.R. Lazy cat stretch, or 'I'm going to win this olympic game' aggressive stretch?
Morning!

Judging by my typo, the former
Mornin
How are you this medium day?

Fine! :D
Rare? :P

Well, it's gloomy outside here, so it's not rare or medium-rare

6:16 AM
It's sunny here. Makes me want to go outside :)
It's been sunny all week :D

jealous
We've had some fine rains tho'

I'll try and send some your way. Rain would be good here, the forest paths are getting to loose to walk easily.

So you want to walk in mud?
Although in this quarantine doing anything outside sounds exciting
Even pissing

6:32 AM
It's a public holiday, so the first day this week that I don't have to go outside and drive to work.

@M.A.R. Eh, that's always an adventure if you're built like me.
Don't need quarantine for that.

@Tinkeringbell You prefer public for that?

@Loong Nah, but if you gotta go and some assholes toppled the Dixie...

ugh

@Loong I wish I had a day off today too... I know already today is going to be massively improductive :P
@Loong It's doable, it's one of the first things you learn as an archaeologist. That, and to take of your safety vest if you go :P

6:38 AM
aha :-)

Topic change! :) Anyone has any Easter plans?
Anything at all?

@Tinkeringbell Yes! Stay home and watch movies and stare at screens

changing the winter tires and cleaning the car

@M.A.R. Mostly my plans too! We're going to barbecue if the sunny weather keeps up :)

24 mins ago, by M.A.R.
jealous

6:42 AM
@Loong I wish I had a car already! Ordered a lease car, but it might be late August before it's delivered... and that was before the VW factories closed.
@M.A.R. The predictions aren't good ;)

1 hour later…
7:56 AM
@Tinkeringbell pfft, I own a Lamborghini
The only problem is it's not big enough to fit a person

@M.A.R. Nice! :)
That was just about what I was to say :P
Those sports cars are so low... I don't like that.

Are you standing besides my shoulder? ಠ_ಠ

On :P I'm that small devil from cartoons ;)

So defeating your own devils would mean I should post spam on Eeps?
That should be easy enough
I watched The Gentlemen a couple of days ago BTW

Nah, that's something where the devil gets to defeat you ;)

7:59 AM
You should watch it too, because it's probably the closest thing that fit your definition of fun

You need to be more creative!
un?
oh.
What was my definition of fun again?

Probably if you have time to procrastinate though

Plenty. Doesn't mean I should :P

If you go to Confucius mode and try to ponder why you spent two hours of your time, then don't
Or was it Tao?
Chinese paintings look alike.
^ That's not racist

If you have to add a disclaimer, it is :P

8:01 AM
It's folks with long hair every time, with a content look on their face

To someone, somewhere
@M.A.R. Sounds like me... :P

Are you a Chinese painting?
And should I apologize for confusing Tao and Mao?
Or was it Archimedes?
Oh, no, that was the guy with the apple and the tree thing

Is it past your bedtime, by any chance?

Or was that Isaac Asimov? Why do we even care about people.
Nope, it's early in the day
And that's bad news for vampires like me

8:18 AM
@ExtrovertedMainMan one might feel less lonely, but just as much depressed

@M.A.R. So, isn't early day past bedtime for vampires?
Pick one :P

3 hours later…
11:15 AM
@Tinkeringbell or people working in a night shift ;P

I read that wrong.
Yeah, people working night shift have bedtime in early day too! :)

Is it Friday? I don't see any TGIF message.

That's because it's Good Friday today. Bit weird to remember God being crucified by saying TGIF :P

Oh. Is that today?

Though slightly appropriate, I guess. It's called Good Friday after all. Yep!

Q: How to make family stop making fun of my phobia

SwarleyIt might sound funny to some people but for me its the most horrifying thing ever. For any answers/comments don't use the word "li......" it just makes me feel like yuck. Please refer to it as "IT" Back Story: When I was younger (8-10 years old, now I am 22) my mom had asked me to bring someth...

4 hours later…
4:34 PM
Does anyone else find that working from home makes them long for the weekend even more than going to the office?

A little yes, a little no. Mostly for different reasons than really longing more, I think.

Mine is "I will get more reading done on the weekends"
I end up slacking off more vigorously
Like today
Is Friday Der Freitag in Dutch also?
Ugh, this scrolling wheel issue is getting out of hand
It seems to occur even more often after I tried to fix it

Well, when I still went to the office, I'd long for the weekend because it meant I could catch up on some sleep and do my own stuff (because I often wouldn't have as much time during the week when travelling).

Now that I mostly work from home I mostly wish for weekends when the week was chaotic and I got next to nothing done, and the weekend is a legitimate reason for not doing anything.
@M.A.R. Nope. It's Vrijdag

O.O
VeriDJ . . . Varydog . . .
Or is <v> pronounced /f/?

vr as in vroom, the car sound. So a little softer than f.
I can't come up with an English sound for IJ though...

4:43 PM
"ij" like in "Martijn"
See, I'm very observant when I choose to.
That doesn't mean I will choose to

Yes, but since that's also a Dutch name I get a slight feeling in English the ij will sound different :P

I've mostly been looking forward to weekends so I can sleep in .. otherwise, it all kind of blurs together anymore :/

@EmC I have a great way of keeping track of days :P Pills :P

You clearly need to create an important task to organize and schedule meticulously for a couple of hours and then start procrastinating

But yeah, the rhythm might be a bit less varied over here too..

4:46 PM
@M.A.R. that sounds like work :P

@EmC Only elite procrastinators with legendary loot can procrastinate from procrastinating. You will not have me fooled

@M.A.R. hmmmm what sort of loot helps you procrastinate harder?

@EmC depends on which clan you choose your wizard to be from
PS4 is mythic equipment for gamus clan members

Yarn. Definitely yarn.
Though in a pinch, I could do with books too
Yours, @EmC ?

5:05 PM
it was books.. then games.. sometimes crafts.. can I pick a different clan each week? :p

You can multiclass, I think?
Or just restart :P

multiclass sounds good :)

Great! Now draw your character :P

ok now I have a weekend plan ;)

Heh. I hope I get to see the result someplace :)
Maybe ... that's going to be a part of my weekend plan too. I haven't done any drawing in a looooong time.

5:54 PM
I draw molecules

Using molecules?

No, who told you that.
Makes sure the molecules didn't hear

Ah. I'll make sure to be quieter next time, I didn't know your molecules where that unstable.

They're not, but they'll probably combust nonetheless
Why is "combust" underlined by my spellchecker? o.o

Well, I don't know if you're using grammarly too, but if it corrects something it now puts a grey dotted line underneath.
It has started to autocorrect some wordt.
words

5:59 PM
. . . OK
I see it's being very helpful

Yeah, not really. I guess it's still learning? :)

I very shortly used it a while ago and all it did was capitalize my I's which I did myself anyway
It's even more useless than MS Word's spellchecker and that one tends to ruin my docs thrice
It's like grudgingly autocarroting my rights into wrong

I don't mind it. I type fast and sometimes mess up letter orders because of it, and having something correct that is nice :)

Where's that Oatmeal comic
Mild language warning
Maybe
It was mild last I checked

Since when does mild language need a warning?
It's a good one though, hadn't seen it before :D

6:04 PM
I dunno, it's what Mag would have done

That's always a good example to follow :)

Don't encourage him

Why not? It's said to be good mod behavior in some cases ;)

Now I'm thinking it'd be a blast if Shog runs for SO mod

I dunno. Personally think that won't ever happen, but I don't know Shog that well.

6:57 PM
@Tinkeringbell None of us do

True, true.

That's tautological

3 hours later…
10:30 PM
wow, such a disappointment!
@RoryAlsop I woefully disagree!

10:49 PM
@Theoneandonly-TomMinor ... hm? Rory hasn't talked here recently, as far as I see

11:07 PM
@EmC Yes, I am aware of that
