People don't age at the same speed. The variance for age of (non-violent, natural) death is several decades. And you can notice this difference in the speed of aging at an earlier age, too. Some people appear ancient at sixty, others are virile and look youthful at the same age. I'm a bit over 5...

so... how's the weather, anyone? :P

It was rainy and cold this morning then changed to sunny and hot. I was wearing jeans and had to run errands. :P it was uncomfortable

I gotta look at homework in order to have questions for the study time with the TA (Teacher's Assistant) for my statistics class :P

@ElizB yuck! almost the opposite here, sunny when I walked to the bus but pouring buckets an hour later. right now it's not raining but very dreary :(

@EmC it was hard for me getting up this morning, just dreary and wet. Then hot and sweaty later on because i decided to wear jeans.... not good for 80 F weather! :P

I'm ready for the (consistent) fall weather to start.. nice reasonable temperatures again :)

@EmC for me, fall is all about the changing temperature... i put up with it most of the time, but changing weather like rain->sunny is frustrating haha

then it gets pretty cold.

I've also basically decided that I won't see my dad in counseling until he has gone to counseling himself.

if a narc goes and makes me listen to him, and changes nothing, it's a waste of my time and the counselor's time.

His treatment of my sister isn't any better either. He texted her the other day: Dad: "The counselor is ready tuesday at 4 (tomorrow), you coming?" My sister "No, I havent seen my counselor yet." Dad: "What you talking about?? You know what (my sister's name)?"

I love my mom, she really understands and leaves me the hell alone and treasures every moment with me. But she really gets it that it's my time to fly the coop... my dad is all trying to fix his mistakes he made 8 years ago

@EmC before the wedding, he even wanted to make sure I was considerate and understanding of HIS family drama... he and his siblings fought over options for care of his mother.... it was awful, and I had absolutely nothing to do with it... until he said I had to "know what was going on and be considerate"..... egh. I said no, plain and simple.

unrelated, I am 8 pages into an instructions doc to set up my new work project, and just realized I may have made a mistake at some point >.<

oh, lucky you. I liked the idea of one big wedding, and El'endia wanted a smaller wedding. It turned out great, around 75 people came
