Did you guys know that Edge has recently changed its engine to Chromium?

After 14 years, I leave firefox for the first time.

Didn't they also rebrand away from Edge into something else?

I'm kinda confused though. Is there any specific reasons for chrome to still hold 70% of the market even when the native browser installed on the windows uses the same engine and has the same feature?

Is it just the brand that is overwhelming or what

IE still has a bad rep, Chrome still has a good rep

they rebranded away from Internet Explorer towards Edge

chromes rep isn't that great these days but everything works with chrome

moving away usually involves a compromise of some kind
