thus, using fetch to grab jQuery won't work either unless you pass the result into eval
which I don't recommend
you can either include jQuery in your bundle
or import it from the current workspace
I forget how to do the latter as it's difficult to word a google search to find it
but it's definitely possible
maybe import from window?
it sounds like a good question for stackoverflow
otherwise fetch is for making HTTP requests
as for CORS, you should read the docs, developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Fetch_API/Using_Fetch fetch won't send cookies with requests unless told to
eitherway I doubt jQuery is necessary or best for what he's doing
