So I've been asked by a company to do some pull requests on their github repos and do enhancements for them to test my expertise.
Is this normal? What am I supposed to do?
Just some random enhancements and code debugging? Or am I missing something?

@JackJohansson I think you've been given an open door to try and impress them
you could fix some spelling typos but that's not too impressive
and it doesn't show off your expertise
so it's really up to your imagination and how cool or impressive your addition is
so likely either fixing a longstanding bug they've had problems with for a very long time
adding major features
and so on and so forth

Trying to fix stuff like Undefined Index and so, it's already been made by an expert. Not many bugs or place for improvement :P

that way they can see your technical skills by the quality of how you built it, as well as how well you picked up their code
@JackJohansson no new features?
make it do something it doesn't do right now then

Ya I gotta work on the 'new features' one, the only thing that can work for me.

undefined index's etc I expect would demonstrate attention to detail but it doesn't say much about how you'd architect new code or features

I've already built a whole repo as a challenge, this one is the second challenge
