@BenI. Take photo of product. Adjust for lighting and correct color to make it resemble the product (purple shades are really problematic). Then crop it to a square, keeping the product centered, and rename the file to what it is. 90% of the mouse/kbd work is grunt work. Even make a simple spreadsheet to crunch the numbers so I don't need to think most of the time.

Most of the rest need a tweak on the color/brightness and/or angle adjustments:

Fortunately, very few need any serious work. Some have needed stretching of the blank space to achieve square, or the bad camera work (all my own fault) needs "patches" to fill in holes I left.

And she seldom makes the items the same colors, even when reusing a pattern, so I cannot make a picture and just keep it on file, but have to re-shoot each new creation.
Still, and all, the GIMP hasn't failed me yet. :)
@BenI. ^^^ There's what I have been going through. 279 shoots processed. Now I get to shoot a bunch more, rinse and repeat till done.
