Q: JavaScript to teach Theoretical Computer Science

Ben I.We have been considering moving JavaScript into our core curriculum for vocational-readiness reasons. However, our core CS curriculum focuses on concepts that won't become out of date. There are certain languages that are pure, or close to pure, and lend themselves to teaching certain concepts....

@GypsySpellweaver Did you ever try zsh? I've had folks tell me it's better than bash, but I've never tried it.

@BenI. Not knowingly anyway. I often install a experiment with random *nix distros. If one uses Zsh rather than sh, Bash, or Csh, I probably would not notice.
