Re: this question. @BenI. I agree that it seems topical, but generally SE sites avoid questions like this one because it's basically asking "What's your favorite product to do x" and since old products disappear/new products appear, the question will gradually become less useful as time passes. These questions are also pretty conducive to low-quality/link-only answers.
I'm fine with this question, just wanted to point this out.

That particular question looks like a lot of what I see in superuser.
Which is not to say I disagree we the you. The thought occurred to me, but I saw value in two ways: first, I thought the question itself was likely to Garner reasonable answers. That's purely by instinct, not for any systemic reason I can point to. And second, there is value to a new question type :)
