The US is actually one of the best places to visit right now due to lack of masking rules in most states. You won’t get the same experi if you fly to Europe or Mexico or the Caribbean or South America

Right now I’m in Hawaii where masking and vaccine passports are mandatory. It’s a horrible travel experience. Florida or Texas will probably offer the worlds best beach experience right now due to lack of both.
