Yes, you can convert rep to miles on Unicorn Airlines, which is part of the Stack Alliance.

I've almost got enough for a flight to the end of the rainbow.

@pnuts Beware of that vietnam-question-answering user. They are copying stuff verbatim from websites.

A: Is it possible to get an e-Visa for Vietnam?

luccyThis is a legitimate process and your visa is issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department. There are many online tourism businesses where you can apply online for your visa. As indicated in the Ordinance on Entry, Exit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam (No. 24/2000/PL- UBTVQH 10 of April 28...

I wonder if "Luccy" is hte same person as "An an"

Quite possibly (though why not then Chi Chi?) - but might as well (a) try and get a useful answer from 'it' and (ii) maybe either find out a bit more about them or chase them away.

@pnuts I agree. There's nothing wrong with quoting (from an authoritative reference) and citing the source. However I fear they might just be trying to build rep in order to spam a product of some kind. We've seen plenty of that already.

I'll bear that in mind and try to keep an eye on it.

@Willeke on the video answers idea I was umming and ahing about
I'm wondering if an audio format might work better
For example, Dr Karl in Australia - answers science questions in Australia
could do something similar for travel

@MarkMayo Mark, you will work for a different audience, those using Youtube all the time are less likely to go to an audio only source. And you will find it harder to give the extra details in printed text. But if it suits you better, it might well be the better way.

@Fiksdal, I would add a line that having a 'letter of being allowed to travel by parents' can prevent some problems, like in some hostels, to this answer: travel.stackexchange.com/a/78680/27650

8:03 PM
Hotels may not accept 'parental letters of approval' some hostel organizations do.

8:34 PM
@Willeke Sure, can't hurt to bring it. Added.
@arda sure :)

I know that some people on Yahoo Answers state that you can not legally find anywhere to stay if you are under 18. Other state that it is no problem at all. As far as I know the reality lies somewhere in the middle, in some countries all hotels and the official hostels will not accept you but in most countries there will be a good option in most locations. I would suggest to check out options well before traveling there.
In some countries the HI hostels require (but do not always ask for) a letter of permision from the parents.
This would make a good answer if I knew which countries have those restrictions, which I do not know.

Pictures are on Windows. Will post when I boot back.

8:56 PM
@arda You're in Linux?

Yep

@Willeke I think it's more a matter of individual hotels than countries. As a teenager I stayed in many hotels in various European countries without adults present.
@arda When I'm in U! Xubuntu I can still access my NTFS and HFS+ partitions, can't you?

@Fiksdal windows is in a bitlocker-enabled partition

9:12 PM
@arda I see.

@MichaelHampton Thinking about it, even before my edit, the new question was quite different, the "duplicate" is ostensibly about citizenship, that one is about residence
Of course, residence is the most interesting topic and that's why your answer quickly disposed of the citizenship question to address the residence issue (and rightly so). But the questions themselves are very different.

@chx Very nice, he can apply, anybody with £85 and a passport can apply.
@Fiksdal Eric Lippert. He's ok in real-life, but terribly pedantic on SO.

10:49 PM
@GayotFow Was that a reply to a previous message of mine?
