Q: Is it possible Neo doesn't exist? Or option two, is training (throughout Matrix series)?

SidharthaThe English word 'matrix' comes from the same word in Latin, meaning womb, which in turn comes from mater meaning mother. At the time of translation, matrix meant womb in English, but it has since taken on different meanings in biology, mathematics, computing and electronics. "You will hand over...

@Spencer Holy carp! 16 books in 4 years! That's...
But it's entirely possible that if the OP read them around 6 years ago there were only 4 or 5 out at that time.
Hmm. "Azure Flame Media" already rings alarm bells. Then take the fact that they have published works by exactly 1 author...
Oh, and it's hard to tell, but he wrote in the neighbourhood of 15 books in 2013 alone?!
I ain't touching that on a bet.

Q: How many MCU villains were in some way created by the Stark family?

Donatello SwansinoA popular trend in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that villains in the various films and TV shows are in some way created by Tony Stark, or in some cases his father Howard. In a literal sense, this includes Ultron, but in a more metaphorical sense includes Whiplash and Aldrich Kilian. My questi...

Q: Can a Bootstrap paradox logically be initialized by another timeline

EvertIn a universe where time travel is possible and changing the past creates new timelines, can a bootstrap paradox be 'created'. This is more of a logical puzzle than directly pertaining to a specific work of Sci Fi, but they can be found in Dark, Doctor Who, Interstellar. If I were a time travel...

Ham VockeMigration Schedule Here's an overview of the sites we're going to migrate, when we're planning to run the migration and the current status of that site. I'll keep it updated as we go. We might run into some issues along the way, so please understand that predicting an exact timeline is hard and w...

Schedule for the migration. SCi-FI is 33/100-something sites

Is that a hard list? I figured they just listed all sites... but I suppose it'll make it easier for them to use it now

@TheLethalCarrot not sure
we're fairly far down the list, but I guess they've 'proven' spoilers with Movies, so no rush to do us?
it's reassuring they've not rushing

Yeah I'm glad they're taking their time
I hope they have a small break after the first 4 to make sure with everything too

8:46 AM
there was a slight issue

@Mithical ok?

uploading images before any text was put in the texbox caused breakage

@Mithical ah ok, more to do with the process of adding than the actual markdown

9:04 AM
Well, there's also problems with some posts not getting migrated properly.
Specifically multi-paragraph quotes within lists. And a possible dark number of a myriad of other edge cases that just haven't surfaced yet.

Hence why I hope they have a few days break

@NapoleonWilson those were hard to format ANYWAY iirc

@AncientSwordRage How?

@TheLethalCarrot Oh. I was misinterpreting "break".

Oh you thought I wanted something to go wrong?

9:20 AM
@NapoleonWilson I forget what issues I've had in the past, maybe it was somewhere else, but I seem to recall quote + list or list+ quote doesn't work? Or maybe it was spoiler + list?

You just have to indent properly, like with any multi-paragraph list bullet point. And consider if you want your list inside or outside of the quote.
But okay, spoilers are a mess of their own.

Spoilers are just intentionally under-developed so they just don't work anytime you want something other than a single paragraph surrounded by normal text

@TheLethalCarrot is that 'so they' implying intent or just connection?

"so they" meaning "so spoilers"

The same as they're not advertized very strongly in the editing toolbar and help.
And god help us all if they were.

9:33 AM
Yeah I'm glad they're "hidden", we already have problems of overuse with them as it is

Q: Percy Jackson fanfic where he is brought back from the dead as long as his friends get over it

SiriuslyDumb673So, I've read a Percy Jackson fan fiction some time ago (on Wattpad). Basically, Percy kind of died, but one of the goddesses (pretty sure it's Hera or 'Dite) gives him a second chance. She writes a letter for the half bloods and gives them two months to get over his death and to stop blaming t...

never go scrolling through lists of fanfiction
*shudders*

Well that was a mistake, everyone knows to not look into those things

And close your eyes with holy dread

You think this thing sounds a like a story that's actually about character and story for once. But no, of course it also needs a "pairing" expressed by a neologism.

Q: Was the Flame and the Void inspired by military techniques used in the Vietnam War?

Q: What does "as a second wave, because of the miracle that is "One Man Only", it's just this" mean?

Cindy LloydIn a meeting, Stephan says about Jack: Stephan: We focused on the one thing that makes this man here unlike anyone else in the entire world of music today. No collaborators, no cowriters, no samples, no steals, hmm? no "featuring Bieber." Just the simple, pure genius... of "One Man Onl...

Q: What Star Trek series to watch next after seeing them all?

Kirsty MccawI have seen all the Star Trek TV series like Deep Space Nine, The Next Generation, Enterprise and I've nearly finished Voyager and I've seen all the movies associated as well. What Star Trek series should I watch next?

I wonder if we need the "list of recommendations" custom close reason any more. Because I've seen many of these closed as opinion based (which they are, by definition).

We do need it: it's been used 14.29 % of closed questions
And that one above isn't a list/recommendations

I used it just now. But isn't it really subsumed by "opinion-based"?

Suggested Order questions are opinion based by default and shouldn't really be closed but there is a grey area
Lists aren't opinion based
But you could make an argument for Too broad or whatever it is now

Next after you've seen them all? Well, none, of course!
If anything, it's entirely unclear what's asked there.

Except the OP subsequently admits in comments that they haven't seen them all. Which doesn't make it more clear, but at least means there's an answer.

2:36 PM
Assuming the list in the question is complete they haven't seen them all
The OP admitted it? where?

The "like" after boasting they've seen "all" would suggest they're just examples.

OP asserts they saw "all the movies". Can we believe that?

If we can't believe the asker, who can we believe on it?

There were a couple of SNL Star Trek parodies I guess they could watch...

That's what happens when people think about 5 seconds about their questions and then write up what they would ask that dude sitting at the desk over there in their lunch break.

Harith ShahAfter coming back from his duel with Voldemort, Harry was scorned at by Cornelius Fudge.
