@Stormblessed I would expect that merging duplicates is rarely done because different people have submitted them, usually with different wording (and perhaps have earned rep from them already). Whose wording do you keep? who keeps their rep? Do all answers come across to the merged question?

I think that we have it well-established (regardless of whether or not one sees this as flawed logic) that Harry is not a horcrux. A horcrux has to be made intentionally, the recipient is then classified as an "evil object," etc. Neither of which is true for Harry - so, as stated by JKR herself...
