And Carnage had some offspring as well, making their origin story even longer.

Molecule Man -> Beyonder -> Secret Wars -> Spider-Man gets symbiote suit -> hijinks ensue -> symbiote is removed from Spider-Man and bonds to Eddie Brock, creating Venom -> symbiote produces offspring which bonds to Cletus Kasady, creating Carnage.

I think Carnage had some offspring, but I may be mistaken.

Anyway, Maximum Carnage would make for an awesome third movie.
