Q: What are the speeds of the Eagle and Mark IX Hawks on Space: 1999?

dean1957What are the speeds of the Eagles and Hawks spacecraft in Space:1999? I have some information on space: 1999 Wiki not sure how accurate that is. On the episode Wargames the speed was given "at V 14.2" Koening replies "nearly twice the speed of our Eagles." So what speed is V 14.2?

@AncientSwordRage I checked the post, and it doesn't look like it has any followers.
That was the first thing I thought of too.

@DavidW followers aren't a public thing

2:35 AM
Followers aren't public, no. But the number of followers is visible, not so?
And if the number of followers is 0, then Spencer can't be one.

2:55 AM
Oh nevermind. I'm conflating bookmarks with followers. As you probably guessed. Apparently I do need more than 3 hours sleep. :-P
If you're feeling merciful you can delete all my embarrassing noise. :-/

FuzzyBootsI read this in the last five years, I'm pretty sure, probably more than two years ago. I believe it was a complete book, not a short story. I don't remember if it was a paper book or an ebook. I'm pretty sure it was a published book, not an online story. The protagonist is a teenage boy who is th...

Q: Would the 3rd Age of Middle-earth have been the 'Age of Men' if Isildur had destroyed the One Ring in Mount Doom?

user57467I am wondering if Isildur had destroyed the One Ring by throwing it down into the lava of Mount Doom, would doing this have resulted in the 3rd Age of Middle-earth being the 'Age of Men'?

5:18 PM
People think that's opinion-based but it has a clear, definitive answer, supported by the text.

5:34 PM
@Spencer I disagree. There is no explicitly named "Age of Elves" or any other race that I'm aware of. The Second and Third Age aren't given names tied to specific people, and their boundaries are not necessarily tied to the rise or fall of specific peoples either.
Even if the Dominion of Men had begun in the Third Age instead of the Fourth there's no particular reason that the Third Age would have been the "Age of Men."
If anything it would have been a transitional period as at the end of the Second Age there were still substantial hosts of Elves present in Middle-earth, and Men would not immediately or automatically have become the dominant power.

Q: Fantasy romance manhwa where the protagonist reincarnates in a novel where her husband was the villain

Typical Demon 69The protagonist reincarnates in a novel as a character who tried to kill herself because she was married to a prince known to be cursed. In the main novel (the one the protagonist read), her husband was the villain, but she liked the villain more than the main character. The heroine of the novel ...

Q: Did Tony Stark Create Vibranium?

taylor.2317In the scene below, Tony Stark creates a new element. I was wondering: is this Vibranium, or a completely different element? Also, if this is Vibranium, how come no-one else was able to create this. Before Black Panther (set in 2016), most of the world didn't know about vibranium. So, surely if T...

lessthanidealIn the series Babylon 5, we are mostly shown the small cramped rooms and corridors of the eponymous space station, very full of people and things. Q: MCU and/or Marvel shared universe in comics or other media

Anthony XAs I understand it, Hulk, Thor, Spiderman, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and many others were created in their own narrative universes (stand-alone comics), and the single shared universe we see in the MCU movies only emerged ad-hoc out of various Marvel comics cross-overs published ov...
