Q: How often does Batman fight street criminals?

M Arif Rahman WinandarI came across a post about how Batman (or rather, Bruce Wayne) can give away his wealth as a sort of universal basic income to the impoverished people of Gotham to reduce crime, instead of just punching those criminals and leaving them to the police. Putting aside the various things Bruce Wayne h...

Q: What's with the beyond-casual introduction of "stone-giants" in The Hobbit?

Alexandar F.In Chapter 4, "Over Hill and Under Hill", I suddenly read this: When he peeped out in the lightning-flashes, he saw that across the valley the stone-giants were out and were hurling rocks at one another for a game, and catching them, and tossing them down into the darkness where they smashed amo...

@ibid Would it make sense if I added the titles of the seven main books to scifi.stackexchange.com/a/120136/4918 "Reading order for Harry Potter auxiliary books?" ? This is a reading order question, so it should be friendly to new readers who need not have read those books.
@DavidW Half-blood Prince and Deathly Hallows certainly had a lot of anticipation and speculation, but (1) the internet was younger back then, and those were before Sci Fi SE in particular; (2) the anticipation was spread out to two years, rather than half a year for movies where even if they're sequels, we can't guess much about them without a trailer or interviews.

Q: Manhua where the main character is a lord in a medieval time period

TyroneThere was this manhua I was reading where the main character (maybe isekai) is in this medieval world with a demon servant. He is the lord of this village. The strangest part is that the demon servant sucks the blood off of the main character's finger. There are undertones of it being gay. The ma...

Richard CHave the writers/director explained at any point the details of how Beck created the effects for each of the fake scenes?
