Looking back at it it's borderline too broad, Flash falls quite often in comics
Series as well, and movie... Well the JL movie didn't have a Flash
They had the current MCU Spider-Man dressed up as Flash

I haven't seen JL are you just moaning about Flash's portrayal in the film?

Most probably.

Totally
Live action Flash sucks in JL and the series
And TBH JL movie isn't even a JL movie
It's a Superman movie. There's no "league". They just got their asses handed to them, and Superman defeats the guy.

There totally is a Justice League and they're fighting together for the fate of the world.

11:39 AM
Heck the only characters they had who were kind of coherent were WW and Cyborg

Superman isn't even in it for a huge amount of time.

@NapoleonWilson oh there is, sure, but in principle you don't name the movie after the team that gets wrecked, in superhero stuff at least

Uh...that's a really odd and narrow viewpoint, no?

@NapoleonWilson which is the problem. He defeats Steppenwolf on a couple seconds. He would have had a same result, in a couple minutes maybe, without the League

These films can as much be about the struggle of the heroes as about their success.

11:42 AM
@NapoleonWilson ? Not so much of a viewpoint that what's being done

@Jenayah Well, apparently not. ;-)

:P

@Jenayah Yeah, without the League he'd be...snoozing away in his grave.

'cause that would've been such a shame

It would indeed. But also, that's not really the point.

@Jenayah That's...a tremendous skill. Strategy and tactics is what matters, not if the Flash can outrun Steppenwolf or if Batman can go WWE on him.

Hm? Superman getting back was borderline sheer luck and his timing was not tactics

Then why are you saying that
3 mins ago, by Jenayah
Okay, so the League is good at bringing the right weapon, and more or less have it fire at the right time

Key words are "more or less" ;)
I could edit that into "conveniently have it firing at the right time"
Like, what I mean is that their skills sucked against Steppenwolf, which is fine. Wouldn't have done better myself. They brought Superman back, alright. They got lucky he showed up when he did. He solo'ed the guy. There wasn't that much "leaguing" between him and rest. And even then the rest... Were kinda growing up with each other, but not really, but then yes, and then meh, and then fist bump 'cause we saved the day!
Avengers for instance had its characters all having some key role. One gets the main deployed ship, one's in charge of the portal, one tries AOE, and all of that allows the guy with the nuke to get to the mothership.
And gah it pains me to say an Avengers material was better than JL stuff ><
