@Narusan in the fashion of everyone in the world right now, "OMG HOW DARE YOU SPOIL MY FAVOURITE SHOW EVER, THATS A MASSIVE SPOILER I THOUGHT EVERYONE WAS GOING TO BE DEAD BUT YOU JUST CONFIRMED THERE ARE SOME THAT ARE ALIVE!!! YOU SHOULD BE BANNED FOR SPOILING OMG 😭"
And Ed out

7:41 AM
Should we edit out spoilers of this question?
@Edlothiad Who knows? Maybe that's what I'm unpleased about. But as the claimed "leaks" do not fulfil various prophecies, I suppose that some newsgroups just took some fan theories for reality.

Now you've taken the leaks to far and I'm actually going to get angry ;-P!! Btw GoT talk is usually left to the Quill and Tankard chat room, but be aware, revealing any spoilers will make Master Skooba angry
No, because that information he been around for 20 years and is common knowledge, imo, it should be edited to make it clear that we're not talking about the seven kingdoms crown and is the crown from the tourney at harrenhal!

@Edlothiad Thanks for explaining that. I'm still unaccustomed to the many Chatrooms here.

Check out my edit, seem less spoilery with regards to new unfoldings?

9:14 AM
@Edlothiad In my opinion, yes. But obviously I haven't participated much on this site yet (apart from chatting in the wrong rooms). The edit also made the intention of the question more clear. // By the way, are we going to edit all Season 7 titles some time when it's not spoilery anymore so that it is easier to find these questions?

9:32 AM
Here's a fun one - we ardently delete everything that considers religion and mythology fiction, yet we have and tags.
From a cursory read can be burninated - seems to be used mostly on Marvel questions about Thor.

@Narusan ideally they're titled in a way that's both not a spoiler and meaningful, unfortunately we got a bit lazy. I think maybe in a month or two I'll go through bit by bit editing them to be more meaningful but still try and hide anything obvious

Where's out floof team lately - @YvetteColomb and @Riker

@Edlothiad I mean, Why did Cercei do this is spoiler-free and I don't see a way of putting more information into the title without being spoilery, but no search engine is gonna find that by the title. And I don't know how inline-spoiler-markdown works: Is text in Spoiler markdown visible on search engines?
@Gallifreyan Floofy enough?

@Narusan Nah :D Did you know those winter coats are made of Ikea rugs?
I decided not to post human floofs after Mithrandir took it to extremes and started posting underage human floofs.
That he considered floofy but they actually weren't.

9:49 AM
I didn't. But now that you say it, I do recognise remains of Billy :P

@Narusan They released a manual to make your own cape :D

@Gallifreyan to the rescue

@Gallifreyan Obviously they do. I mean, it's IKEA. I'm probably going to lose all the screws when I open the package the first time though, I'm no good at assembling the parts. I heard that especially the coat comes with a multitude of screws and nails.

@Narusan spoilers aren't hidden on google, but that's not really who we're hiding it for

10:15 AM
@Narusan You bet it does.

beautiful floof <3

Q: Is it time for Ragnarök for the [norse-gods]?

GallifreyanWe have a firm consensus that religion (Should we exclude religious texts, and which?) and mythology (Should myths be considered religions?) by itself is off-topic here, and that calling religious works fiction is not okay (What's the best way to respectfully discuss stories which fictionalize re...

Q: How should Netflix's Death Note movie be tagged?

EdelkCurrently, the death-note tag reads as follows: Questions regarding the manga and anime adaptation of Death Note Note that this tag is currently used only 7 times, so it's not very popular. But with the recent release of an American live adaptation, there arises the question: how to prope...

It is currently being marked as a duplicate to another answer. However, that is asking about it from an out-of-universe perspective and I am asking from an in-universe perspective.
Neither the question, nor the highest voted (and accepted) answer address it from an in-unverse perspective.
But there is debate over if it's still a duplicate because the second answer addresses from an in-universe perspective.
Is that how this site works? Even if the main question, and the highest voted/accepted answer don't make the question a duplicate, it is if even a lesser answer does?

@Thunderforge Answers make a duplicate is our current policy.
I think.

@Bellerophon Any answer, even one that isn't accepted or highly upvoted?

@Thunderforge I think so. Assuming the answer is correct. I guess a downvoted answer that was incorrect probably wouldn't count.

@Bellerophon In this case, I think that answer goes beyond the scope of the original question. I ran into this once before here where a question was marked as duplicate just because an answer tangentially answered my question, despite the fact that it had nothing to do with the main question :-/
Sorry if I'm coming off too frustrated. Do you know where we have a meta discussion or whatever indicating that this sort of question would be a duplicate?
Due to a second answer having it?

9:01 PM
I don't fully know.
I'm only saying what I have heard mentioned.

Alright, well I appreciate you looking.

9:32 PM
@Bellerophon At least on Health.SE, that is also the rule for a duplicate question, if answer to question A answers question B, B is closed as dupe.

Q: Why has this duplicate question been reopened?

ValorumThe question What is the typical yield of a Starfleet photon torpedo? seemed sufficiently similar to this one (What is the difference between photon torpedoes and quantum torpedoes?) for me to close it as a duplicate. The OP (in comments) noted that the dupe question didn't explictly address his...
