i don't know how it took me this long to realize that all quick outputs are capable of being fed a right argument
i thought this worked because of ? being equipped to inherit the maximum adicity of its arguments, but then i tried a smaller example with / and that worked too
turns out... okay, most quick outputs are lambdas that can take two arguments
for some reason Ɲ only takes the one
but anyways yeah a lot of stuff that's illegal with atomic monads is perfectly fine with non-atomic monads
