That's exactly the thing: you have to make sure you create the right links in the right places using the appropriate syntax elements
This is the terse and conventional way of doing what you intended, for the record (I'm actually lying, there's a built-in Æn for that, but still)

I am aware of the built-in :) but reinventing the wheel is usually one of the things that helps me learn :)
I checked the meaning of the snippet you wrote
It does make a lot of sense. Because you incremented with a single byte, you didn't need to explicitly say it was the "while body" link with the \mu quick, right?
