@orthocresol I admit I select at random/cherry pick more so than newest to oldest evaluation. I also tweak the search sometimes but mostly the starred message for now.

Yup, I do the same too. Whenever I'm not sure what to do about a question I just skip it...

:: chemistry.stackexchange.com/q/64415/23561 Reopened -o (it was going to be reopened from the queue anyway. Nice edit!)
^I think this one could be reopened. Edited Q&A to reduce scope.

^ Might be controversial, but maybe we can delete this. I think we have enough questions on the topic and this one is based on a false premise anyway (that Br reacts faster than Cl). We already have a question asking why F>Cl>Br>I (which addresses the false premise) and we now also have a question asking why 2-/4-substitution > 3-substitution, so there are no new concepts to talk about in that question.
^ This is an amirite question in its purest sense - there's not much to say apart from my comment on it. Should we delete?

@orthocresol Wont dissenter, an active member, feel bad?

(1) The way we deal with content, in theory, should not depend on the user who posted it.
(2) The question is pretty much dead anyway, it is not going to receive an answer (I am not going to write one), and if two people just downvoted it, it would be deleted automatically by a script. I need another person to agree to delete it anyway, so in effect we are just expediting the Roomba process.
(3) It's not as if a huge amount of effort went into that post anyway. Dissenter has had much better questions than that one.
And... this is spring cleaning, after all. If you've ever been in a situation where you need to clean up your own possessions, you'll know that sentimentalism isn't the top priority. :)
