I ported surface interp to C

cool
should we request to add it to Tio?

Probably
The only problem is that we would be able to use it only for intermediate checking, final checking still should be done with the original interpreter (and in this case it should be clearly stated in the answer I think)

good point. Let's do that. We should also add a comment to the test driver to list all all the tests that are abstraction for the original interpreter. Our list is starting to get kind of long.

3 hours later…
6:35 PM
Ok, Surface is on tio now (/opt/surface/surface)

7:27 PM
Does anybody mind if I change FAIL to FAILURE for errors to stand out even more?

I don't

8:13 PM
@stasoid I saw you were asking why we were using archway v1 instead of archway v2 in the TIO chatroom. The reason is the archway v2 file has a compile error, and we aren't allowed to modify the source.
The problem is trivial to fix though

8:38 PM
@Potato44 got it

8:48 PM
@stasoid Go ahead and update the test driver. I was hoping that setting pass to lowercase would make it easier to differentiate, but I agree that it could be better.

ok
