They had a question about what satisfies disclosing their affiliation with a hydrangea site (hydrangealibrary.com) that they edit and write for. @Katalin welcome! As per request from MackM, here are a few guidelines I would recommend, speaking as as a moderator on four sites:
1. The answer must be “independent”, so that clicking on the link gives only additional info, for the more interested readers.
2. Mentioning your affiliation in your profile is not sufficient (but of course you are welcome to add the link there), sorry. A reader considering clicking on the link should get the disclosure right in the post, without having to check your profile. A simple “my website” instead of “this website” is sufficient, if you don’t want to elaborate.
Anything else should be already be covered by the links @MackM sent you. If you have more questions, feel free to reach out.

Ah, maybe one additional hint: If your are copying content from another site (e.g. your hydrangea site) I recommend checking out How to reference material written by others, even if it’s your own text. We unfortunately see the occasional user that blatantly copies content from random sources and as a consequence we tend to ruthlessly eliminate plagiarism if it gets flagged or otherwise noticed. Please help us avoid any confusion here..
