Hello @JohnRennie sir

@PrateekMourya hi :-)

Sir i formatted from diskpart and reinstalled windows
It ran smooth afterwards

Good :-)

But today again after an update which i dont know
Simce my father was taking his class
So he didn't know about it much
He allowed restart
After which same problem
Started

Hmm, OK, so it's an update that is causing the problem.
Almost certainly a device driver update.

5:30 AM
So solution?

You can look at the list of updates to see what got installed.
If you open Settings, then Update & Security then there's a link to see the update history.

Ok
So once i know what update was it i will tell you
So you can help much better

I would look in the Driver Updates section and see what's there
I've just looked on a machine I've just installed, and I get a list like this. Yours will be different as it's a different model. Can you post the list of updates it shows:

If we start introducing iron filings to a bar magnet, will the pattern begin from the poles and slowly grow to the equatorial region as we bring more and more iron filings? Further, is the pattern limited by the amount of iron filings or in other words, will we cover the entire region around the magnet with iron filings if we have surplus of filings. Thanks. — Guru Vishnu Feb 18 at 10:57
@JohnRennie Hi!
Any inputs here

@YouKnowMe hi
Can you clarify what you are asking?

5:46 AM

The pattern appears because each individual particle of iron behaves like a compass needle, so wherever you place it, it will align with the direction of the field at that location.

@JohnRennie My question is that if we add more iron fillings, will this pattern remain unchanged.

Mostly unchanged. In principle the presence of the iron does influence the total magnetic field, but as long as the mass of the iron filings is a lot less than the mass of the magnet the change will be small.
@PrateekMourya Just five updates?

Yes
Should i just unistall them?
These some additional updates info

The definition updates are unlikely to be the cause. My guess is that it's one or both of the driver updates.
Click the restart button to complete the updates that are pending, and let's see what it's like after the restart.

5:50 AM
There are some pending updates too
Ok
Meanwhile
....

Your dogs?

Yes
So much fun to watch them play
Still the same problem
After restarting

It would be worth downloading and installing the "Dell Update app". Then run it and let it install any updates needed.

6:15 AM
@PrateekMourya how is it going?

7:01 AM
I did all things like installing dell update app
Installing the drivers for my model
But none worked
@JohnRennie sorry for late response

I'm afraid I have run out of ideas then.
All I can suggest is you wipe the disk and reinstall, then do an update. Then when the problem recurs remove the updtes one by one until the problem goes away again. That will identify the offending update.
Also I would reset the BIOS to the defaults.
Press F12 at boot to get the boot menu then choose the option "Enter setup"
In the BIOS go to the "Exit" section and choose the "Restore defaults" option then save the settings and exit.
Do this before you reinstall Windows.

7:17 AM
My father said that will take a lot of time so he said dont worry we will take this to a repair shop
So will save lot of time

Here in question 198 if I I apply conservation of linear momentum for the entire dumbbell system and the colliding ball system
So the total master the dumbbell system becomes m
and so they just transfer their momentum so the velocity of the colliding ball becomes the velocity of the centre of mass of the the dumbbell system
But that gives wrong answer why
@JohnRennie sir

@PrateekMourya Q198?

give me moment to read it ...
@PrateekMourya I don't think it's as simple as that.

I'll draw a diagram
I've just had a phone call and I have a rush job to do that will take me an hour or so. This is how far I got with the diagram:
This shows the velocities immediately before and immediately after the impact.
You need to conserver energy, linear momentum and angular momentum, and that will give you three equations in the three unknowns v1, v2 and v3.
(this is in the centre of mass frame)

7:48 AM
I too got for food
But now eaten

Once you know v2 and v3 you can calculate the angular momentum of the dumbbell.

What a luck
Supplying conservation of linear momentum for the colliding sphere and the the sphere on the dumbbell
And using e
And conserving energy
Ok
Is it the other way not working due to the fact that the impulse transferred to the entire system is not uniform
As in case of continuous rigid body the impulse transfer of to the entire body
