How do I reset the designators on a PcbLib file? I've been creating footprints for my personal library and the pad designators keep incrementing, even in new parts/footprints.
Even if I rename the first and second pad, the auto incrementation goes back to the old count.

@WesleyLee Press tab while placing, change the number there, press enter

@Asmyldof -- yes, that is what I've been doing, however after I change the number to 1 or 2, it continues as the previous count (300, 301, 302 in the image). Another weird thing is, if I place a loose pad on a PCB (not on a lib) and rename it to 1, then on the lib it will "reset" the count to 2, 3, etc.. On the schLib editor however when I reset the designators on pins (to 1, the next one will be 2, etc). I couldn't find a setting for this.. :(

@WesleyLee In your first post you say you rename the pins in a way that implies post-placement. Are you actually doing it before you click, or only after?

@Asmyldof -- I meant before clicking, but I just tried before and after placement and the designators keep incrementing, even after I rename them to 1

Did you update to the latest Altium revision? Unable to reproduce your problem in 18.0.12
Never seen it in 17 or before either tbh

That could be it, I'm using 18.0.7. I'll try to update. Thanks!
