@AdrianLarson I've used the Salesforce-provided one, but haven't really run into any auth issues myself. How old is your install? Even though SFDC pushed back the sunset on TLS1.0, maybe it's due to that.

i just installed the newest version from prod but the issue persists

although it's stopped screwing with my login url

I know that the success and failure files are generated as the data loader works, but I've never had it hang on me there.

Finally got it to work by just using password auth

When the job finishes, there is supposed to be a small popup box prompting you to push 'OK' or view the success/error files in an external program. Sometimes, that popup box doesn't show up on top of everything.

No i wasn't even getting to the job definition
