@user You had a mistake in your definition of mapad2:
tio.run/…
@Razetime I'm not convinced it is possible
user
@Leo Oh, I'm an idiot
Leo
Nah, that was easy to miss, it took me a while to spot it :)
user
@Leo Can't you do it with plain recursion?
(not as a function, like the Haskell one)
It probably won't be shorter than what Razetime already has, though
Leo
Yes, I don't think using fix would work
Accessing arbitrarily far previous elements and using the current index are two things fix is not great for
user
You don't need to really know the current index, right?
You can zip with the list of indices
Leo

But yeah, I would give it a try translating your Haskell solution to Husk
user
Doing that right now :P
Leo
@user yes, but I don't see a way to make it work with fix
user
That's too bad
Leo
(But maybe it's just me, I've been wrong thinking fix had no use before)
user
@Leo Unfortunately, that
doesn't work
, but even if it's fixed, it'd be longer than the 17 byter Razetime has, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
