@Adám Hi there, thanks for the greeting. I am interested, only from afar at the moment. My son enjoys writing in APL and I'm fascinated by it too.

how do i make a dfn that takes no arguments?

7:35 AM
@PyGamer0 it seems to me that you're interested into what is called 'point free' (or tacit) programming: aplwiki.com/wiki/Tacit_programming
good morning

@PyGamer0 you can't - but you can probably do it with a tradfn
i usually pass as a dummy right argument

@xpqz No, sorry, but I will get to it soon.
@elliptic00 Currently in beta, so it should be out soon. Probably within the next month.
@qmacro OK cool. How old is your son, if I may ask?
@PyGamer0 Use NARS2000 or GNU APL ;-)

How do you interact with RESTful APIs with Dyalog APL?

Hi, to access REST APIs, it's easiest to use HttpCommand.
]load HttpCommand
r←HttpCommand.Do cmd url params headers
Where cmd is the HTTP method, url is the URL, params is any parameters for the request, and headers are any special headers for the request (like Authorization)

@11Kilobytes check out xpqz.github.io/learnapl/http.html too (github is down atm lol but check it out when it's back up)

 z←⎕NEW HttpCommand
 z.Command←'POST'
 z.URL←'https://api.twitter.com/2/tweets/search/stream/rules'
 'content-type'z.AddHeader'application/json'
 'authorization'z.AddHeader'Bearer ',token
z.Params←'{"add": [{"value": "cat has:media", "tag": "cats with media"},{"value": "cat has:media -grumpy", "tag": "happy cats with media"},{"value": "meme", "tag": "funny things"},{"value": "meme has:images"}]}'
 r←z.Run
Then the response is in r.Data

9:25 PM
@11Kilobytes @rak1507 The book is now available again.
