random question: why is the result of f/ enclosed?

@H.PWiz ooh it's for the higher dimension cases. I wanted that to not be the case for my APL but I also don't want edge cases with that. But it's either that or another builtin, resulting in / split up into 3 chars

You can just make it insert. I don't think it would cause any problems. The only time it's enclosed is when the rank isn't reduced "naturally"

That's what J calls it I think. Just insert the function between the elements

oh I never actually knew how reduce works for multidimensional things. I kind of just assumed it did something like this (no idea what I'm doing there) but that again has problems with rank 1
