So my school has this competition sort of thing. It's kinda like a math olympiad, but for all topics as well as random trivia. But this one question tonight just killed me.

"The set that contains 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 has 32 subsets. How many proper subsets does it have?"

Ah... the feeling of being the only one who understands what the question is asking, especially since the answer is so trivial...

It just kicked me silly that the question was so trivial, since they told you how many subsets it had.
